"The Great Dance reads like a benediction, a morning blessing, a good night's hug, an invitation. The book will be danced by many children, young and old alike!"

- Natasha Godfrey

about the

book

“The Great Dance is a love poem from the Ancestors, a gentle manifesto reminding us that all beings born into The Dance of Life are sacred.

It is also a prayer of unending gratitude for Earth’s indigenous peoples and the dedicated religious and spiritual practitioners who’ve kept The Great Dance alive across millennia, despite the genocidal impacts of those who terrorize bodies, souls, and Earth Herself.

In making this book, we proudly claim the love, creativity, visionary support of the InterPlay Community, the Sacred Dance Guild, Conscious Dance and Creative Movement Communities, The Art of Ensoulment Practice, and all on our Spirit Team who made this love poem possible.

Thank you for joining us in our vow to keep dancing on behalf of one another and Mother Earth.”

"Our world needs this so much. Breathtaking and breath-giving all at the same time."

- Coke Tani

My work on The Great Dance is shaped by my deep connection with Cynthia Winton-Henry and is grounded in InterPlay and the Art of Ensoulment."
